I’m afraid I would just add to the “crappy books on art direction” section if I ever tried this. Also, I think I have too much to learn still before I could even think, or have the creds to write such a book. With this said, I could write an entire book about my beard though ;)

I apologize for asking what must be a tedious question for you, but I had heard Jean-François Dugas give an answer on the matter before and unfortunately must've missed the 100 times you'd voiced your own opinion! Hi JJB, i really like your hairstyle which you wear at the ASK JJB episodes on youtube. I think it´s an undercut. but on my head it looks total different, even if we look similar, maybe because of my big head ;) could you please say me your head size, or new era size, to check what´s the reason.

Humm… That’s a weird question. My hairstyle on the Ask JJB’s huh…? I have no idea I had a particular hairstyle. I usually just go to the guy who cuts my hair, sit down, fall half asleep, and wake up to a refreshed head. And for my “head size” it’s the size called humongous ego. Hope this helps.

I know you guys had things that were cut or left out from Deus Ex Human Revolution due to time/cost etc. What was the thing you personally were most gutted about having to leave out?

I’ve answered this question a hundred times. But it’s ok. Here it is: it was definitely the Upper Hengsha city HUB. The entire second floor of Hengsha in Shanghai was a full fledged city HUB. The architecture was my favorite of the entire game and the most futuristic looking location. The background with the towering Tai Yong Medical building with the sunset burning in the back was just insane. Oh well, that’s what making games is all about sometimes. Cutting where it hurts in order to ship a proper game. It’s all good. We’re professionals.
